Drum Birthing Workshops
The drum has been with us from the beginning and in most cultures. Throughout the world, the drum has been used as a tool for communication, music, ritual, and healing.
Its resonance is a powerful way to connect with self - with Spirit Medicine. Birthing your drum is a very sacred and deeply moving experience. Every step of the process is a journey through every area of your life – from birth, up to the present moment.
Making your own medicine drum is a deep and personal experience and should be approached with awareness and consciousness – supporting you to not only make yourself a personalised shamanic tool, but to also connect with the animal of the hide you are using, the timber of the frame and the way you journey through the creative and spiritual process.
The process you undergo as you make the drum is reflective of your own birth story, the births of your children (if you have any) and how you “process” in your life both creatively and in relationship to Spirit.
Every step of the process is a journey through every area of your life – from birth, up to the present moment.

This workshop will take you on a journey of self discovery - the discovery of your connection with the drum, Mother Earth and Spirit.
You will be held in a safe and sacred space as you birth yourself and the drum through this creative shamanic process.

Tah Birthing and Ancestral Journey
Many
women experience a profound feeling of recognition and amazement when they
first see one of the many images of a women, priestess or primordial Goddess
holding a frame drum.
Women have been integral to sacred drumming and assisting others to get closer to the 'divine goddess' for a millennia.
This workshop is about birthing a Tah frame drum and bringing back the thread of those female ancestral drummers into our lives today.
